Follow along with our current trip or explore past adventures. Our blog title is a bastardized portmanteau of our family name, Farnsworth, and Dolce Far Niente, Italian for “The sweet art of doing nothing”. So this is us getting very accomplished at wasting our time having fun.

- Our new city is in New France
We spent pretty much the whole day walking around both lower and upper Old Québec with lots and lots of stairs. It’s such a gorgeous city with well preserved buildings and a very European/French feel. French is the primary language spoken here but it’s different enough from the French we know that we have a hard time understanding it. It was the last day of the New France Festival so we explored the exhibits and enjoyed the locals in authentic 17th century costumes.
